Dragisich named Choice Hotels new president

Choice Hotels International, Inc. has appointed Dominic Dragisich as President and Chief Executive Officer, effective August 31, 2026. He will also join the company’s Board of Directors.
Dragisich has been serving as Interim Chief Executive Officer since May 20, 2026, and has been with the company for nearly a decade, holding various roles.
Leadership Experience
According to the report, Dragisich has a proven track record of leadership, having advanced strategic priorities and supported a performance-driven culture across the company.
Stewart Bainum Jr., Chairman of the Board of Directors, said, “Dom has been a proven, exceptional leader for nearly a decade at Choice Hotels.”
Bainum added that the Board conducted a thorough search and evaluated a strong slate of internal and external candidates before concluding that Dragisich is the right leader to build on the company’s recent momentum.

Prior to joining Choice Hotels, Dragisich served as Chief Financial Officer at XO Communications, where he successfully returned the company to top-line growth and increased profitability.
He has also held senior finance and operational positions at Marriott International, NII Holdings, and Deloitte Consulting.
During his nearly 10 years with Choice Hotels, Dragisich has held various roles, including Chief Financial Officer, Executive Vice President of Operations and Chief Global Brand Officer, and Chief Growth and Strategy Officer.
Future Plans
